Faustine Muyenzi

Board Chair

As a dedicated advocate for gender equity and reproductive justice, Faustine brings to Women’s Health Clinic both professional expertise and lived experience navigating systemic barriers.

For over ten years, Faustine has helped people in crisis on the front lines. She has worked closely with survivors of abuse, people going through hard times, and those who are often left out or pushed aside. She understands how health, financial problems, and unfair systems are connected. Through her work at nonprofits and government agencies, she has seen how gaps in health care, money stability, and cultural safety hurt Indigenous people, newcomers to Canada, and racialized communities the most. That’s why she fights for policies and practices that put dignity, fair access, and reproductive justice first.

As chair of the WHC Board, Faustine supports solutions that include voices that are rarely heard. She makes sure the clinic’s programs truly help people who need it most, including gender diverse people and anyone who is often forgotten or forced to deal with difficult systems all alone.
